When becoming a member or booking a ticket at one of our theatres, we collect and process first name, last name, postal address and bank details under the lawful processing of contract. We do not store your bank details on our web servers. This information is required to process your membership or book your tickets with us. We also collect and process email address and telephone number under the lawful processing of legitimate interest.
If you are using any of our child activities or services including our education programmes, parties or workshops, we will collect and process your child’s name and data of birth as well as the parent/carer’s name, date of birth, postal address and bank details under the lawful processing of contract. We also collect and process email address, and telephone number under the lawful processing of legitimate interest.

How will we use the information about you?
The information collected when you become a member at one of our Theatres or book a ticket is required to ensure you get the most benefit from our services. The data will be used to set up, verify and manage your membership, allow us to notify of you product of interest should you opt in, and allow us to contact you in the event of a performance being cancelled.
The information collected on behalf of a child using our services is required to set up their activities. Parent/carer details are required to verify and manage this activity on their behalf.
We collect data on the performances you have attended, to keep you updated by email and/or phone on relevant matters such as cancellations, booking confirmations, and important updates regarding the Theatre and changes to your membership/event with us.
We will also contact you via email, telephone or post about our other products and services we think may be of interest to you. You will have the option to opt-in to these when you initially provide data to us or when we collect data from you, and can opt out/update your preferences at any time.
We use information collected from the website to get an idea of best performing web pages.
If you have used our facilities, we will keep your data for a period of 18 months after your last activity or your membership/booking has passed/lapsed. After this, your data will be archived for seven years and then securely disposed of.
If you opt in, we will collect, use, store or otherwise process any personal information that relates to and identifies you, including but not limited to your name, postal address, e-mail address and any other information collected on registration with the Website, at our Box Office or through surveys, to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the services that are available to you through our Website.

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties. We will also not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

SLL operates as a data controller or joint data controller with various local authorities/professional bodies. Depending on the centre you use, one of the following bodies can also view your data:
