Details

Pippa D. Collins is delighted to bring her brand new show, One Night Only 'Pippa D. Collins & Band', to the Gordon Craig Theatre.

Known primarily for her colourful career as a vocalist and choral leader, she is also an accomplished composer, songwriter, arranger and pianist. She performed with The Vignettes at every night of this year's Battle Proms season, taking in venues such as Hatfield House and Highclere Castle (2019's shows are already confirmed), plus sell-out shows at The Stables, Milton Keynes and the Arts Theatre, Soho.

Pippa also leads one of the UK's most vibrant new choirs - The London Show Choir - which she runs with musical director and pianist Matt Pallant. Celebrating the worlds of musical theatre, jazz, gospel and classical music, they have performed on the pitch for the Saracens Rugby team and toured with big-name artists including Kerry Ellis (for her 20th anniversary tour) and Russell Watson (as part of his 'Canzoni D'Amore' tour). They have hosted their own concerts at the Actors' Church, Covent Garden, and the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage, with special guests Hugh Maynard, Vicki Michelle, Brenda Edwards, Rosemarie Ford and Cassidy Janson; and their recent headline appearance at the Leicester Haymarket, as part of it's re-opening after refurbishment, saw them perform alongside a host of stars as part of Paul Burton's 'Sunday At the Musicals'.

Pippa has arranged, recorded and performed string arrangements and backing vocals for a roster of artists. Her TV work includes 'The Ruth Jones Show', working with Tim Minchen, Dawn French and Michael Sheen; and most recently, she appeared as a vocal consultant on BBC4's 'What a Performance' with Suzy Klein and Frank Skinner. She also sang the National Anthem live on Sky 1 at Brands Hatch for the Grand Prix (watched by ten million viewers) and was one of the session singers for the Travelodge TV commercials, as well as vocal consultant for the Sainsbury's Christmas TV commercial.
