Details

November 11th 2018 marks the "laying down of arms" which effectively ended World War 1. To mark this special occasion SLL and Stevenage Royal British Legion are hosting an afternoon film "Kajaki".

This is a powerful true story of how a group of British soldiers on patrol accidentally stumble into an unmarked minefield. All was well until one soldier stepped onto a landmine. Then follows the horrific and suspenseful extraction of the patrol, not knowing when the next landmine will explode.

All profit from the showing of this film will be donated to The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
