Ovations Restaurant
Whether you want to turn your trip to the theatre into a really memorable evening or celebrate a special occasion, the Ovations Restaurant, which is probably one of Stevenage’s best kept secrets, is the ideal place to dine and enjoy a mouth-watering meal in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.
The restaurant, which serves traditional British Cuisine, using fresh ingredients that are locally sourced and of the best quality, has launched a new menu with a selection of tantalising main courses and desserts.
Our menu will change with the seasons to enjoy the best of British grown produce. Our current offer:
2 course pre-theatre hot fork buffet:
A vibrant, constantly changing choice of bistro classics, daily specials and traditional favourites
freshly prepared on site using seasonal ingredients.
This will be followed by selection of at least three hand made desserts.
The changing menus will include, at various times, three or more freshly prepared dishes.

Burgundy chicken with pancetta and caramelised shallots
Sea bass with wild mushrooms and slow roasted thyme potatoes
Home made John Bull (steak and kidney) pudding
Pork and fennel pot roast
Beef cobbler with mature cheddar scones
Slow cooked ham hock with spiced red cabbage and herb mash
Oxtail and stout stew with stilton dumplings
The hot fork buffet will be available from our restaurant servery area.

Anyone visiting the Theatre is advised to book before 6.30pm to ensure entrance into the Theatre at 7.45pm.
The Coffee House - Now open from 9.00am
A stylish fully licensed continental café with a contemporary design, the coffee house provides the perfect setting whether you are looking for somewhere to meet up with your friends, a pre-show coffee or discuss business in an informal environment.
The Coffee House offers exquisite coffee blended from Fair Trade coffee beans, cakes and light lunches allowing you to indulge in that little treat you truly deserve.
The Coffee House is open:
Monday to Saturday 9.00am – 3:00pm
On show days the Coffee House is open 1 hour before any performance in the theatre until the end of the interval.
The Foyer Bar
The fully licensed Foyer Bar is open to Theatre patrons 1 hour before the show, during the interval, and again after most performances. To avoid the queues why not pre-order your interval drink? A member of the bar staff will be happy to take your order before the show.
